A few weeks ago I shared about being the time to start planting seeds. We are continuing to landscape our propety that we purchased a few years ago to make the gardens more honeybee and pollinator friendly. Our intent to 1)Have primarily native landscape 2) include some edible landscaping 3)provide nectar and pollen source throughout the year 4) beautify our landscape. This is a large task and will take us a few years!
I don't know about you, but I am excited to see the first flowers of the year. Spring is finally arriving, even though this cold weather seems to keep trying to come back. But, as I take walks outside I see the signs of spring still fighting to shine.
Spring is just around the corner! Hopefully spring weather will arrive to stay soon! But, these occasional spring like weather days have our green thumbs throbbing to get planting. Luckily, it’s time to start seeds indoors to help calm that throbbing thumb.
We hope everyone had a Happy New Year and wish everyone a happy and healthy 2022!
As we start the new year, we like to take the time to create a business plan for the upcoming year. It doesn't always go as planned, but it helps us to stay focused. Winter is a great opportunity for us to do planning and building new equipment while the bees are hibernating in their hives.
