Garlic has been used historically to treat colds and coughs. It contains antibacterial properties due to the allicin found in the garlic. Therefore, consuming garlic can help boost your immune system.
Now combine these two powerful ingredients with their antibacterial and immune boosting properties to have some flavorful, natural alternatives for the upcoming flu season. That is a good question! We did the same thing a few years ago for personal use. It seemed to work out just fine. But i’m honestly not sure if its safe or we just got lucky no one got sick!
Can you add the garlic to the honey jar and use it like that in recipes? My son put some in a jar (not refrigerated) and said it is delicious on steaks. Is this safe?
