The Luck of the Irish

Bees and honey have a long history in the Irish Culture. So much so that they play a vital role in many folklores. Saint Patrick's Day was established to honor the anniversary of the death of St. Patrick, an Irish Missionary. Today, the holiday is known for the popular Irish foods such as Irish Soda Bread, Corned beef and cabbage, and many more recipes.

To celebrate the tradition, look for an Irish Soda Bread Recipe coming to the recipe corner next week. Also, you are in luck! If you order honey from March 14th to March 20th to make your Irish Recipes, use the code "Patrick" to receive 10% off your order. No Leprechauns are playing tricks, besides hiding this sale in the blog post!

No matter how you celebrate St. Patrick's Day, whether it's a tribute to Irish Saint's, your Irish Culture, or just Leprechaun fun, share how you used honey in your celebration. Tag #griesesemerbeekeepingllc. Many popular Irish Dishes use Honey! Happy St. Patrick's Day!
